In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an special katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Titan-themed attire for Yasuke
• Mikasa attire for Naoe
• Special weapons
• Survey Corps mount

Third Free Story Addition

This release also introduces the game's third complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
